I think its a cool nickname its perfect for bellossom

Empoleon = Bill
Rapidash = Blaze
Conkeldurr = Nicky (found out it was female, had to change name.)

Name them base on their types... Like if it's fire type, then name it to somethin' like Blaze, Flame, etc... if it's water type, give Surfer, Tidal Wave, etc... Yeah, It's the best I think... Base the names on their types!
