Torchic because I love fire. Second coice would have been treeko, but its not cute. I NEVER pick water type because it's so common in the wild. Fire is kind of hard to come by though.

Usually Mudkip, because most of the other Water pokmon you find early enough to add into your team are rubbish. The only real exception is Azumarill, who's a Physical attacker anyway.

Swampert's the best of the three anyway. Blaziken dies too easily without the Speed to make up for its' poor defences and Sceptile is poor unless you breed it.

I was quite puzzled when picking. I actually sat it there for like 30 minutes and did some research. For my first time I picked Mudkip. Because he is mud and water. And he mud cancels out the weakness against lightning/grass. Treeko is definitely the most challenging ever. Torchic is a moderate one. So for the VERY beginners -Mudkip-. Sort of got it down? -Torchic-. Ready to be challenged? -Treeko-
Also because Mudkip and Torchic have double types, and Treeco does not. :C

Howdy.

Having a double-type isn't always a good thing you know. Some combinations are just dreadful (Grass/Bug, Ice/Ground etc) because the the huge amount of weaknesses.

I, myself, have a craving for power and perfection, so my team must have the right pokmon with the right movesets and good natures. This is why I hate HMs so much.
