Nice, I think the most I ever got on Blue was 110 something, I don't remember it on hand.

I don't see how anyone can not cheat to get their Pokedex completed unless:
(1) Trading back and forth to get their Pokedex. Now, either the friend might have cheated to get certain Pokemon (Ho-oh, Lugia, Jirachi and Deoxys) or:
(2) That person or the friend had the game since when they made them, and had been to a Nintendo Event, where certain Pokemon were first introduced and given out through the Wonderspots.
Now, as an estimate, I think 20% around here might have played that long to do no. 2 (I might be wrong, but then, who knows?). Which is either I think no. 1 might have happened, or it was cheated upon.
As far as me, I just got Fire Red last December (and Leaf Green a week ago). I only have 243 in the Pokedex (just evolved Meditite into Medicham about 38 minutes ago), and have to do a lot of breeding and evolving before I can get that number close to 300. I'm missing Slowbro, the Bulbasaur lineup, and Wigglytuff to finish the Kanto Pokedex.

i usually go through the game once, getting only the pokemon i like, training them up, and then when im done with everything i trade them to my OTHER firered version and catch lots :D
