No I was'nt hurt at all I really don't care about shineys much they're cool but sometimes once you get them it be ok in all but I really did'nt care when I did that.

They are for rarilty value thats all. In Gold, Silver, and Crystal they used to be stronger, then a lot of reguler pokemon, but now they are just merely for the rarilty value now.

Yeah but to me they are too rare. It's (almost) like a half of people in the world against one.

i think they made shinys more common in ruby/sapphire/fr/lg, because you guys seem to have caught more than ive seen in how many years on gold

Well maybe someday they might make a game where shineys are more easier to find but I doubt it.

hey, does everybody remember that red gyarados in g/s I think? If only they advertise shinies like that in the future games.

i caught it, and trained it up to level 100, but it had bad stats so i trained up another one, and the normal one has 360 attack, its as good as a dragonite, lol

Well a shiny Pokemon's stats are always the same, no manner how many of them you catch. In GSC if you could two shinys of the same they would have identical stats.

well, no more difference than normal pokemon, no two pokemon are exactly the smae, because theyre stats vary, but only by a few points
