Every type has their advantages and disadvantages. For example, Mega Horn is the only good bug-type attack (other than fury cutter after a while) and only Heracross can use it. I don't have one favorite type, but I do prefer some over others. Psychic over Ghost, Rock over Steel, Water over Ice, Normal over Fighting, and Grass over Bug, just to name some similar types.
