why my game keep restarting a new game everytime i shut the game off i mean i always save it but every time i shut the game off and turn it back on later it says new game is there any reason why that is happening????? If u guys know plzz help me

Happens with my Silver. GameBoy and GameBoy Color games' memory only lasts 4-7 years. Thankfully my Gold is still saving, but the time and day is all messed up.

My Crystal is still saving. I don't play it much anymore but I hope it lasts 'cause I've got the best cheats ever for it!

my crystal crashed a few months ago now i have to start a new game, i was soooo close to having all the pokemon, and i have powerful pokemon to :(
I'm going to study and devote my time and become a Ninja! Ninjas are awsome!! come and join my new team, Team Resident Evil Thanks To Friendly_Dragon43 for the siggy ^_^

Sucks doesn't it? I'm glad my Gold still works ok at the least, then I wouldn't be able to play the best ever pok�mon games any more.

I have a back up saving system on my Game Shark. When the base Crystal dies, I can use that. Best part is, I can save ANYWHERE I want, includin' in the middle of a battle.

there is a way you can make copies of your pokemon in goldbut gold only.
follow these steps:
1)clear out box five and six
2)choose the pokemon to be duped
3)put pokemon in box five(not for special reason)
4)Change to box six...and when it says SAVING DO NOT TUCH POWER BOTTON switch the game of
5)start the game back up:there should be the pokemon you wanted copies of in you team and in box five
6)enjoy!
