Celibu Mew help!!

Besides cheat codes how do you get Celibu or Mew, in a specific way?

either win a compo or use cheats :-/

in the japanese version you can get the gs ball, and go to kurt, then ilex forest, but only in the japanese version, otherwise, you cant get celebi, mew, you can get in blue/red/yellow w/ the gambler trick, its where you dont battle the youngster w/ the slowpoke (the one not agaisnt the wall) north of nugget bridge, and the gambler west of lavender, the one farther away, go to the little house above, RIGHT in front of the door, dont get in the path of the gambler, SAVE, be prepared to battle a level 17 slowpoke and have a pokemon that knows fly and have a pokemon ready to catch a level 7 mew, and balls to catch it w/, now go down one step and press start reallllly quick, i got it first time, use Fly, go to curlean, he will see you and have the ! above his head, but you will fly away, then go up nugget bridge to the younster, make him walk to you, DONT step right in front of him or press start, it will freeze the game, battle him, then after you beat him, press start and fly to lavender town, walk west towards the route again, when you go over, your menu should pop up, go down to exit and press exit, then boom, you will run into a level 7 mew, and there you go, that is only red/blue/yellow though, so you would have to trade it over

there has got to be a way to get Celibu with out cheats.............because if u want to get your pokedex filled with every pokemon u got to get Celibu.

For the record, it's Celebi. Second, there is no way to get Celebi anymore. Today's Gameshark's don't support Gameboy Color and the events took place YEARS ago.

realy there has 2 be a way but wats so great about ceibei

Celebi is considered the mew of Jhoto by some. I personally think Celebi is just the grass type version of him.

To the topic: The only sure fire way to get Celebi is by cheats.

I know somebody who actually opened up their game cartelige (sp?). Apparently there are these little switches inside the game and she turned on all the switches. It shows that you've seen them in the pokedex so you know where to look for them. But it is not recommended to do so for obvious reasons.

Thats interesting and dangerous, my gold keeps crashing anyway so can you tell me how to do that,

You need to get some special screwdriver an' open it up. I might try that if I can find my Crystal... I don't have Gold anymore.

Open up your Gold Version? Well, I'm not gonna try it but I'm not saying it doesn't work. I have a Celebi, but I got it in a trade from a friend. Not sure where he got it, though.

He probably cheated. It's the only way to get him now. It used to be there was some way Nintendo would give you one at the HQ. That died a few years ago though.

clanky they dont really encourage it.

For mew you may go to a nintendo event.

those are over they want cheat

im pretty sure you need the japaneese version to get celebii, and for mew u need the old games, and japaneese at that i think..

geez clanky4, if that wasn't bumping an old topic..

Mew can be found in red and blue versions. idk about the japaneese versions though.
