Gold/Silver Music

What do you think of the soundtrack? do you like it more than the new games or less?

if they make a remake of it would they enhance the old music or change it all together? which do you prefer?

i like the old music better. and i want them to enhance it so it sounds the same because the soundtracks of the new games suck

The old music is simple, but good in its own way.

The old music is good, but Diamond and Pearls is better. If they make a emake they should make a mix of them.

well the only music that i like from D/P is the gym leaders Elite 4 and the champion the rest is to fluty and boring. i like the old stuff buts it sounds blocky :P

Kinda. And I meant the Champion music.

Yeah the music starts off sappy but then picks up after a couple of seconds. most places have crummy music but some routes and certain battles are ok.

I thought that the D/P music had too much country in them, whereas as far as I'm concerned, no one likes country. At least I don't. I liked a lot of the Gold/Silver music, especially a few routes that I can't remember because I haven't played the game in ages... But yeah.

Good on you. yeah the D/P music is too soft and put you to sleepish. i prefer the old stuff its a little faster.

Although the Ru/Sa/Em music wasn't too bad, either...
But the R/B/Y music was just too horrible, and the D/P music is boring.

Maybe if they would make a mix of both 2nd and 3rd generation music?? That would be awesome.

Well the FR/LG music was ok, and G/S/C was good. So a mix of that with D/P champion music.

FR/LG had the same music as R/B/Y and a couple songs from G/S.

The songs from R/B/Y aren't bad, but I think the best songs are the ones from the second and third generations.

the old stuff was better i think the blockyness made it better. the more advanced and contury it souns the worse it gets.

Yeah. It definitely got worse, and D/P hit it dead.

The music for the routes were horrible, the cities were *stupid*, and the caves music is just repeated over and over again. Da da dahhh da da dahhh du du duhhh du du duhhh da da dahhh... You get what I mean, right?

Only the trainer battle songs were good, and I say; THAT'S IT!

yeah. the music when prof. rowan talks about pokemon and you chose your gender, etc the music is horrible. its all slow. they should make version 2 or 3 of D/P with better music. and i hope that next gen games have better music.

The Red/Blue/Yellow music failed. 2nd gen was getting better. Then R and S, I say were the best. D/P were the worst, by far.

There's no doubt that no one likes the DP music, lol.
DP was very slow and country, and RBY was just boring.
GSC and RuSaE were definitely the best; but if I had to choose, I'd pick RuSaE...
Their songs were unique and actually cool, I thought.

But the songs from GSC come in second. RBY come in third, and DP come in DEAD LAST.
