I was wondering about the move Sunny Day. I'm training a Sunkern at the moment and it learned Sunny Day. As far as I know it's a move that powers up fire moves, and Sunkern is a grass pok�mon!
Does Sunny Day have a totally different effect when a grass pok�mon uses the move?

It does. It doesn't require a grass Pokemon to charge for Solar Beam, it can use it in one turn.

yeah, solar beam requires charging up everytime you use it
so you put on sunny day and then solar beam works every turn without charging up...
apart from that, sunny day just powers up fire types...

of course, in the new versions theres a pokemon called groundon, who as soon as he comes out into battle sunny day picks up, so he can use solarbeam straight away...

its damn useful, and the rain danse never goes away even if you change pokemon, it only goes away when you use sunny day or something of the same sort...

Sunny Day increases the power of Fire attacks and alows you to use solerbeam without charging up.
