I read that if you go to Prof. Elms house and he'll give you a master ball. This is my cousin's game and he said that he never got the master ball so when and how do I get it?

yes you do get a master ball
after getting the 8th and final badge in jhoto, prof.elm will call you saying hes got a gift
go to his lab and talk to him, and he'll give it to you
you can also get master balls by winning forst prize in the id no. contest in goldenrod, but chances of that are low...

I have 9 badges, I never got a phone call, and I even went to his lab and never got anything. I really need a master ball for catching Lugia!

For catching Lugia?Just weaken it down to extreme HP (Sycther with False Swipe PAWNS) ,then keep launching Ultra Balls or some of Kurt's special balls.Either way,just keep trying with Ultra Balls.

I couldn't even catch a lv. 50 Snorlax With an ultra ball Or a heavy ball. What's gonna make me beleive that I can catch a lv. 70 Lugia with an ultra ball? What do I give kurt for a special ball and where do I find it? Thanks!

Give him ANY kind of Apricorn,and he'll make you a special ball.If you can get about 15 level balls,and have a lvl 100 pokemon,it's easy as hell.Besides,weaken the pokemon down to it's lowest HP,then send it to sleep,or poison it.Either way,it'll make catching the pokemon TWICE as easy.

putting lugia to sleep or paralyzing it is the best option, but you should save the master ball (if you get one) for entei or raikou or suicune, they are harder to catch
with ugia your not gonna catch it easily, it use recover and is level 70 legendary, it may take several attempts to catch it, i remember trying to catch level 70 ho-oh for about 7-8 hours...you just have to be patient...

7-8 Hours?I didn't know it could take that long.Poison also works,but Paralysing's just as good i guess.Thing is,Luiga uses Recover when you never suspect it,but a few Level-Balls did the job for me.

Pooisoning makes a Pokemon easier to capture. And I captured Lugia with a Great Ball! I saved in front of it, kept poisoning it each time I battled it, and on like my 7th try I caught him.
PS- I captured Snorlax with a Pokeball at full health. Once it goes to sleep, it's really easy to capture.

sorry for buttin in but i caught Lugia with an ultra ball. its not that hard just keep usin scizor and i used a hypno to put it to sleep and use dream eater
