Actually, what it depends on is the Pokemon available in the games, like, version-exclusives.
I'll cehck that out when it gets released, then make my decision.

Both. I usually get both, but I pick one to play seriously & the other to just goof off on & use for trades, AR tests, etc.
But I'll pick HeartGold to play seriously.

Assuming they keep the version exclusive Pokemon the same as they did back in the original games, I think I'll go with Silver. Then I'll trade all my Pokemon from Diamond, Platinum and Pearl(J) to Soul Silver and sell the others.

Gold was my first Gen 2 game.
Gold version always made me feel happier than Silver version. It must've been the feel of the game... I mean, Ho-Oh flies during the day; whereas Lugia flies at night. Gold is just way better in that sense.

Would actually choose both games cause I think I will like both games. I liked the original gold and silver.
