Well, the Japanese release date is confirmed to be September 12th, only a day before Platinum was released in Japan last year. So, we can probably expect a similar release date for America. I hope it's sooner than that though.
Any guesses on the North American release date? I would say March 11th, 2010 for right now.

If you don't want to wait that long, order it from the US. Games are much cheaper in the US than the UK, and you'll save money even if you import it, trust me. When I lived in the UK, I did this all the time.

I'm not quite getting what you mean, but if you're asking if foreign titles will work on American DSs, then I know it works. I'm not totally sure that the DSi will accept foreign games, but it should work.

When was Platinum released here in the US?
If you're not Japanese, or can't read or speak it, why bother getting a game in that language when that's all you do in it. You have to be able to read it to enjoy the game...see says so on the box, yup sure does.*points to warning, message-thingy on box*
