I would get HG because you can get lugia at lv.70 instead of lv.45 or lv.47

SS simple cause in Crystal(which is the only 2nd gen game i had)i always caught lugia first(even though you needed him to get ho-oh).But for me Silver.
I would play Crystal for some fun before but i lost it...down my couch.once it goes in it never comes out.

I am going to get both games like I usually do. People are greedy when it comes to trading and sharing, so that is why I am going to get both and maybe an extra Soul Silver that way I can get all the Legends at level 1.

I'll probably get soulsliver first and heartgold after I beat soulsilver because when the originals came out I had silver first

Will d (mr ramdom) & Ryuujin. I am going to do what you guys suggested. Since I am getting both I will play them simultaneously. I will play them like HG I get one badge, then play SS to get the same Badge. I will keep going back and forth until I get to Victory road, then it will be both at the E4 at the same time, lol. Then Only on SS will I go over to Kanto and go further, I will leave HG alone for awhile.

That's creative, but I think focusing on one and then having fun a second time on a similar game would be better.

I don't wish to buy either. I have a perfectly fine Crystal. However, I no longer have a charger cable for my SP, and if I can't get mine back or get another, I might almost have to get one of these. It'd probably be Heart Gold, as the pokemon in it appeals more to me.
