Celebi/Giovanni Event Confirmed

Apparently there will be an event in the game that involves an (go ahead & groan cause you know what word comes next) event Celebi & the Rocket boss Giovanni. It involves you takin' the Celebi to the Ilex Forest Shrine & it takes you back in time for some stuff (won't spoil it if you don't want it) and then it takes you forward in time where you have the opportunity to battle Giovanni (won't reveal any info, just read the page if you want it spoiled.) What are your thoughts on this?

Imo I think it's a neat event from the text I read, a good little subplot. Plus we can finally get/see Celebi...

Pretty sweet! If Giovanni comes back, the Radio message cliffhanger can be fixed! I'm pretty sure that there will be a Celebi event.

If you haven't read the most recent post it said it could possibly involve a movie event Celebi. ]=

EDIT - The even does involve a movie event Celebi. In the event you get sent back in time to battle Giovanni. The thread now has complete details & pics. Seems really neat. That's another thing to add to the AR agenda...

Ooh! I'd like to go back in time to fight Giovanni! And yeah, that makes perfect sense, since Celebi can time-travel.

I think the spoiler is a neat twist to the game. That battle will be epic.

Giovanni's new sprite is cool...

He doesn't even look the same, lololol. As if he reformed and turned into a dour gentleman.

He looks like a mobster, which is basically what Team Rocket is, a mob/gang. That's how he came off as on the show.

A guy named Marriland on YouTube is running through Silver in response to HG/SS.

What do you mean "running through"? Like doing the same thing as Serebii is?
I'd like cheats to be up for the US Action Replays once the English version comes out. =/

Yeah, I'll have to AR up the Celebi, the movie Arceus, any other events that come to light, & the regular stuff (money, PokeBalls, etc.)

Now all I'm lookin' for is Mew to be in the games somehow. We already have a Jirachi event for that one PokeWalker thing...

I'm listening to the HG/SS soundtrack again, ahaha. And Cherrygrove City is playing. It sounds like something that would fit Mew; like a theme for it.

Well they did make a brand new sprite for it so I don't see why not. Plus, since my theory about how they're plannin' to move on with the franchise fixin' the loose ends is more or less confirmed then Mew is the only Pokemon that they lack.

Right. They've got practically every legend in this game.

From what I've read they make Johto seem to be the most important place in the Pokemon world. Both the Arceus event & the Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza thing mention somethin' about ancient people from Hoenn/Sinnoh comin' to Johto for some reason or another.
