Well there's this new feature in HG/SS where if your Pokemon finds an item called a Shining Leaf on a route you'll attach it to the Pokemon. It doesn't do anything, but they're really rare & can only be found under certain conditions. If you take 5 different Pokemon with leaves to the opposite gender character in New Bark they'll give you a star on your Trainer Card.
This is neat I guess, just a little decoration for the status screen...

Interesting. It seems instead of the Undergrounds Minigame of capture the flag was replaced to gain a Black Trainer Card of Five stars. Thats my guess anyway.

Of course they replaced it, I'm actually glad. I can't play capture the flag when there is no one to play with. Would've been better if it was WiFi made.

maybe the fifth star has something to do with the bug catching contest. Certain number number of wins maybe?
