I bought Pokemon Leaf Green last saturday and i finally made it through victory road this morning after playing a total of 23:35 hours {crazy} but after starting to fight lorelei i have realised i need a better team, here is who i have in my party:

Your Moltres sucks. It knows nothing but Fire Type attacks and that is it. Get a rid of all of it's attacks but Flamethrower and work from there. This is the best moveset for Moltres you could have:
Flamethrower
Steel Wing
Hyper Beam
(There was one more attack, I can't remember right now...)
Flamethrower covers: Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel Types
------------
Steel Wing covers: Ice, Rock Types
----------
Hyper Beam covers: *Any Pokemon with excruciatingly low defense power*
Rock Type attacks are Ultraeffective against Moltres, so Steel Wing is a nice thing to have.

Hyper Beam
(There was one more attack, I can't remember right now...)

one bolt beam starmie with surf and psychic... any nature as long as it minus attack... level 60+ ... one poke easily destroys the Elite 4 XDDD (at least, the first 4 will be mighty easy... bolt lori... surf bruno... psych gatha... beam lance... the champ, use your imagination) ... (but u could get rid of the champ too if u had lotsa ethers =D)

Well I have done it, after a couple of trys this morning, i just went into victory road and trained each pokemon atleast 10 levels higher and then had a shot at the elite 4, and whadya know, i beat them with ease and i strangely found gary the easiest to defeat out of them all, thanx for all the tips but in the end i see what you mean with moltres, but it wasnt my fault, i was at my m8s on friday, i went to the shop and let him play my game....big mistake, he gave my moltres all the fire moves, evolved my jigglypuff at lv5 (was planning to train it up) and evolved my Clefairy lv27 which annoyed me because i was going to use my last moon stone on Nidorino, grrrr.
But thanx anywayz DB77, as for MM2K5, i dont know why but out of all my pokemon in my party the weakest is Blastoise, i just don't seem to train it as much as i do the others :S, Whilst im at it, does anyone know wat level Blastoise learns Hydro Pump???

Blastoise should learn HydroPump around level 55... Maybe some levels higher though, because of it's quirky nature... If your Blastoise trust you enough, then go to two island, and go all up north, to the old lady... She will learn it Hydro Cannon, the most powerfull Water attack (Power 150-200! or so I remember)

not a very good water move though... blast may have the defense to pull off a stall during recharge, but the lack of offense duzn't make up for it's loss of turn... charizard's the onli thing thats worth giving the elemental hyper beams to... venus and blastoise defenateli not =S ...

u could've taught your articuno Mind Reader, Sheer Cold, Ice Beam, Hail
and u wouldn't over use the moves so much

it's not over killing ice type moves if you have em on diff pokes n e wai... heck, 6 bolt beamers may seem stupid but at least no one expects it -_-"
