I am at a point in the game where at some point i will be able to try and catch Raikou (I started with Squirtle) the thing is my second strongest pokemon is also an electric type, Pikachu, Raikou would be a gr8 addition to my team but i have raised pikachu from a low level up to lv65, I prefer Pikachu to Raikou but i would probably need Raikou on my team for his higher stats, i know it is a weird thread but i wanted to ask ppl that get a sense of feeling when they are playing the game they get attached to one of the pokemon, so when it comes down to it, who should i pick???

i would prefeer pikachu. if u want respect, pick pikachu, if u want power, pick raikou.

Pikachu can learn some moves that Raikou can't that make wonderful additions to a team...

i agree that raikou is obviously the better pokemon but its not like i am gunna enter any tournaments any time soon, i just need to play my game and see what happens, i prefer Pikachu because i dont like to use legendaries or rare ones that much because that is what everyone expects, it basically because i feel i have a connection with my "Sparky" (sounds corny)
