HO-OH is on floor 40. but, PLEASE remember to bring a key for a sealed chamber on floor 30!!! It has the Friend Bow, an item that if held by YOU, it'll be a LOT easier to recruit any pokemon!!

lol sure, ho-oh takes up two places on your team, so its best to go alone, but you can bring two size one people. he is on floor 40 of mt faraway, and bring a key so on floor thirty you can get the friend bow to help you recruit people. wear it during the battle with ho-oh. you must be the one to knock him out, not your partners or items, and you can't use long range attacks, or he won't befriend you. There is no save point in the middle of the dungeon so you have to go through 40 floors every time just to try to befriend him. when you befriend him something special will happen when you wake up, or actually before you wake up. I won't spoil it for you, so just keep trying at getting ho-oh. I did it and so can you (lost the friend bow three times so I had a reason to go back again and again and again, or you can just do a mission for mt faraway. or you can bore yourself to death by going there over and over again for no reason. happy befriending ;)
