What level is Mew on when you get it anyways? I mean if YOU have to raise it to level 5 yourself, then it's a pointless pokemon to have. I mean, it's level would be so low, it would be worthless.

Oh, okay. Because the way it was said, it seemed like it joined your team on a lvl less than 5. If that was the case,Mew would be pointless to have. And then there's another question. How DO you know when Mew learns transform when you get it on lvl 40?

I bet he has the guide so he knows everything about every pokemon.

To tell the truth...I don't own a guide, I just know that he can learn Transform, and if he doesn't when you meet him, you can ask Gulpin to re-teach it to Mew.

Mew is awsome but it is a real pain to get. I have a level 100 swampert with a friend bow at the lucario rank and i still can't get it. Please help in any way you can. Thank You!

There is no way to obtaining mew simplier but as long as you make numorous attempts at completing this task you shall be able to obtain mew.

oh, you know how people know mew learns transform at level 5? doom seeds, they take your level down by one, which is actually pretty awesome, because you don't lose the stats you gained when you level up, so basiccally with doom seeds a level 1 pokemon could have 999 in every stat. lol that would be funny! also, you know that mewtwo is better then mew right? the only difference is mew is harder to befriend and can float over water and magma and sky, but with the right iq skill so can mewtwo. so really mewtwo is much better and easier to get.however, mew can do a few humorous things, like morph into magikarp and then crush everything with psychic and mega punch. lol mega punch, I can just imagine a magikarp trying to use mega punch, with his fins, or magikarp with psychic powers that meditates lol, magikarp can also use any tm move because of that

I think Mew is a she...can you tell me any other Pokemon that are pink that don't look like girls? Gorebyss, Luvdisc just to name a few.

Too bad the recruitment list is real useless. I have a level 100 Charizard and Friend Bow plus Friend area and Lucario rank...little bugger still won't come. However, they say patience is a virtue.

yeah thats what I said when I found two mews in buried relic without looking for them and the second one befriended me actually da blitz, mewtwo is better then mew, and in the old games, he was the best balenced, because every stat was the same, but he had the same stats as jirachi and celebi, and the newest pokemon of the group, manafi, so he wasn't the best, he was one of the best. I'm sorry, not he, IT

Thank you blitz. But, I will strangle Mew when I found her. Still doesn't appear to me, and it's starting to tick me off...

I know, If I hadn't gotten lucky I would have gone crazy trying to befriend it. remember, friend bow, x-ray specs, lucario rank, and transfer orbs. If you see on the screen somewhere that it used transform, don't use transfer orbs, or you might transfer mew into shedinja or sandshrew or something. and da blitz, your right about one thing, but learning all the tms, isn't making you the best balanced, its your stats that count. by the way, once you have learned all the iq skills, can you still gain stats from gummies?

Yes, of Course!!! Blaziken get some gummis every once in a while 'cause if it eaten, it is stored and I have a lot of Gummis, Oran Berries, Max Elixers, etc. It'll say MAX in the Summary. Actually I don't think every one knows all the IQ Skills and there effect. I'll post it later.
