Well, I carry around 15-25 reviver seeds on missions, but I've died a few times and they didn't work. Is there a special way to use them, because I've had the game for a VERY LONG time and the reviver seeds stopped working a few days ago.

Check your IQ Skill of your leader/partner and see if Item Master is switched off. That's the top reason for this type of problem.

That IQ Skill is the best way to prevent a weak Pokemon that you bring along (not escort) from swallowing your stock of Reviver Seed in your bag. It also does NOT disable its hold item, so don't worry when turning it off.
