English Name Discussion (all Pokémon, Cities, Towns, and Important Characters included)

Torterra is a tight name, I like that better then Dotaitose, because Terra reminds me of a teen titan character named... Terra,a nd she contoled the earth (or rocks).

Infernape is still not better than Goukazaru, the name Goukazaru is so tight that I might actually make that a nickname for my Infernape, but then again, I might not, cause I already have a name for em.

I was about to say you already got a name for Infernape, although nothing's wrong with having two Infernape's with different movesets.

I like Torterra also...one of the few that I liked.

I mean Licky whatever...lmao...sounds very freaky.

Nintendo needs to start consulting gamers on cool names. I mean they can just say what kind of pokemon type its going to be and just have fans throw names out at them.....because their name department really sucks for Diamond and Pearl.

I have updated the first post to include the names of the cities and towns. yesterday the name of the city housing the first gym was released

They are releasing these names little by little.

Some of the towns have some weird sounding names just like some of the new generation pokemon. Oh well as long as the game comes out on the 22nd it doesn't really matter to me as much. I always nickname that I catch and use for battling.

I just got done watching that movie and it was good enough to make me like Manaphy even more.

What do you mean,manaphy is awesome,and i too watched it.

The movie was cool, I actually like manaphy more than ever.

Since I am getting both games for my DS. My trainer on pearl will recive my egg since that is where my female trainer will be at. My Diamond will get the Regi King.

Regigigas is the same as Regi King, because Regigigas is classified as a king/lord/ etc. on wikipedia and other places, or Nyeem might just want to say it that way since Regigigas is anoying to keep typing over again.

Regigiges sure has a long name if you ask me,i still like the jap names better

The movie had the best graphics, better than all the other pokemon movies, and the story line was pretty cool.

Yeah it was an ok movie....not the best one to me...I liked Destiny Deoxy better.

I don't like to see my boy Rayquaza get whooped by a pokemon that's not on the same skill level as rayquaza, Rayquaza's HP is far better than Deoxys (even though deoxys has recover, but only max HP is 300). Rayquaza's moves pack a serious shot to pokemon because of his high sp. attack and attack points, but oh well.

Mummification - Sorry you missed the movie, but it came on back to back. It might show again today because cartoon network been doing movie marathon today.

demonchild1214 - I don't like typing the Regi's name some I just say Regi King because he is the king of all three.

The Jap name is kool...he kept his Jap name anyways. I think Dialga and Palkia should of kept theirs as well.

Yeah diruga sounds better then dialga

Since I'm now very used to saying "Dialga", I like that name better then "Diaruga"
