To unlock Mystery Gift on the main screen, go to the TV Station in Jubilife City. On the 3rd floor, look for a man and woman standing together. Talk to the man, and give him the answers "Eveybody Happy" and "Wi-Fi Connection" -in that order. He will tell you he will pull some strings and get you access to Mystery Gift.
