No big deal. It's not like it's impossible to catch a full health legendary with a pokeball, the odds are just very small.
Guarenteed that if you kept throwing pokeballs at the remaining legendarys in your game while keeping them at full health, you'll catch them eventually.

Yeah My bro kept ressetting and throwing the only pokeballhe had, eventually he cuaght it on full health in a poke ball, lol

Similiar thing happened to me, caught a full health mewtwo with pokeball on first try in red.

Wow. I caught Dialga in Diamond with a quickball in one shot, but hey, that's why its a quickball :D

With a Dusk Ball, if you are in a cave or if it is night out, the ball has a 4x catch rate than a normal pokeball, or a 2x catch rate than an ultra ball

Oh my god. It took me 20 Dusk Balls on Azelf, and 5 on Uxie.
