are they events??

So I saved the sleeping kid in canalave and he's awake and stuff. Can I get darkrai now?? And I'm pretty shure I got all of the plates. I know I did dig some up underground, but I can't remember which ones. What purpose do they serve besides boosting attacks?? And what's up with that big shiny rock at the end of route 224?? Can someone fill me in on this?? There are so many mysteries in this new game....

Those pokemon are event pokemon and the events are already over. The only way to get them is to ask some to trade in the Trading Forum or use an Actin Replay to hack the game.

The plates are for Arceus, they change what type of pokemon he is, like Grass or Fire type. But Arceus event hasn't come out yet in Japan or the U.S.

The polished rock is for Shaymin, the event hasn't happened yet in the U.S. but is already over in Japan.
