my game won't save!

I ordered pokemon platinum for my ds from america, it plays fine, but whenever i try to save now (even if i stay in the same place) it says "saving a lot of data" then it just comes up with "the save data could not be accessed. please turn the power off and reinsert the ds game card." Could someone please tell me how to fix this, or how i can get around this problem.

Return the game possibly?

^I assume he ordered it off the internet, and isn't from America, so therefore can't return it to the shop.

I dunno if you have actually tried doing what it told you, you may not want to lose your data, so, yeah. If you haven't tried doing what it told you, then do that.

What website did you get it from? Or if you did actually get it from a store, then just return it, like Asher said.

There's no possible way to fix it yourself. Maybe Nintendo would fix it for you. If you got it at a shop, you could return it. If you got it off the internet, contact the seller and see if you can get another one.

Hmm...I believe my GTA Chinatown Wars pulled that number once but I just did like it said and I haven't had any problems since.

Do you have an Action Replay? What kind of cheats do you have on it? If you don't, did the game do anything unusual? If none of those are the case, just sell it on a selling website for a slightly larger price then before. $_$
