Okay, when I got to Hearthome, I thought that I was supposed to pass through and beat the gym later (like in Pearl). People were blocking all the routes to continue on with the game, so I took on the Hearthome gym leader. Now I have the 5th badge before the 3rd and 4th badges. Is this part of the game?

I just thought it was weird. I thought Nintendo would have changed the position of the badges in your badge case if you were supposed to get that one first.

I know that it looks weird... it's just one of those things, you know what I mean, that Nintendo have plonked in the game to keep you on your toes. Any way, why didn't you post this in the questions?
