Well this game is very good filler before Diamond and Pearl comes out. It isn't that hard to grasp the concept and defeat the 10 missions.
However some pokemon might pose problems (Charizard / Entei) to catch with the styler.
Just enjoy the game play and if you read through various forums, all the answers you need could probably be answered 9 times out of 10 right in this forum. Good luck and happy playing.
P.S. - By the way where are you that your game is coming out on the April 13th. That really sucks seeing D/P comes out the following week here for us in the USA on the 22nd.

it is a fun game to pass the time until Diamond and Pearl are released
but I am not sure if you can use the Manaphy code on the European edition

where did you get it from ebay and no its not out in the UK plus look an amazon.co.uk and write pokemon ranger and it tells you when it comes out
