Induce sleep upon them with moves like Hypnosis and Spore. Reduce their HP to a low amount.

Use a Timer Ball if the battle lasts for a while. Otherwise, use Ultra Ball[i][/i]s.

who are the best starters for the first gym leader

mudkip and Treeco and i misread it.

Imaloony's correct. Mudkip, due to its ability to learn Water and Ground moves, and Treecko, because it can learn Absorb at an early level.

also, you get into it by staring at the anchient writing for about 1 minute and then it opens.

That's what you have to do in order to enter Regice's main chamber. If you'd like entry to Regirock's, take two paces right, two paces down, and use Strength. To open Registeel's tomb, use Fly in the very center of the first chamber.

Back to the 1st gym all the starters work well against the leaders pokemon cause when torchick evolves it learns double kick and it owns on rock pokemon.

I gave up the quiz along time ago, I guess I might take it back over. But I want to see how many people will actually participate activly first, if there are only 2-3 people who will I'll un-sticky this and let it die probably.
