finally got my huntail and trained it up. and then discovered it has like 2 good moves it learns-hydro pump and crunch. what else should i put on it?

It doesn't learn Earthquake...
The best moveset for Huntail is:
Surf
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Crunch/Body Slam/Return
Gorebyss is better.
