you can only open the door with an e-reader and the trainer card that came w/ your game.........

This is asked many times... Get an E-Reader, then swipe the E-Reader card that came with the game through the E-Reader.

ILME is correct. Purchase/borrow an e-reader, then use the card which was added to the game package. Swipe it through the system, and then go to the house. It can be opened. When you enter the room, you will engage in a battle with the specific trainer on the card.
