Yeah in certain battles he is like in ground, rock, not water because you can kill him with one hit with blizzard ,or ice beam , or the one hit ko ice move sheer cold.

Idk if sceptile would die in one hit of blizzard, he's not that week.

Well it depends on the Ev of the pokemon remember.

Yeah I agree, but lets say sceptile was ev trained in sp def, he probably wouldnt die from blizzard in one hit, unless it was a critical.

Swampert's type is very differnent, which is what makes him good, but he is not at all the best starter.

Yeah true , his ability to boost his power during his about to die , is pretty rad.

Yeah I know, I mean all the starters were pretty good in saphire/ruby, but as I said I find blaze to be the best.

Yeah but in emerald due to tm and new moves, swampert , and blaziken are said to be matched.

Yeah like surf is stronger, he has more indurance when he uses double edge, and he can use muddy water with little or no fail.
