Now that everyone's had ample time to play this game, I would like to know which you think to be better. Soul Silver, or the original nostalgia inducing Silver.

Well I really like the old on a lot better, they changed so much with SoulSilver. The tower name, the game corner being taken out. If they hadn't done that it would have been just as good if not better.

Hmm. Silver was where I had almost completed the entire 'Dex with my mates & had the "unofficial" crown of being the best battler back at school. Even though I didn't take the game as seriously as most of the others, but the remakes were just as fun for me as the old ones.

The remake is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but the original brings up more nostalgia.

I personally love the remakes, and could never go back to the originals. Apart from the Game Corner being absolutely gutted, I consider every change they made in the remakes for the better. Though truthfully, I've always been biased to the latest generation, mainly because I'm such a graphics whore. Heck, these games inspired me to make my own sprite database. But I digress.
The remakes are awesome, and completely kicked the original's *** six ways to Sunday. And I get all the nostalgia I need from the GB Sounds.

I can't really choose, I really like the remake, but also in my eyes the original isn't that bad either.
