I prefer fun and challenging...they should use new concepts for the puzzles.
Remember the dude in R/S/E that you do funny puzzles to get items? One of them included a quiz...maybe they need that?

A quiz based gym would be awesome.
I'd like to see the last gym found in the second town, like R/B. But instead of someone blocking it until you get all the other badges, you can go in, but not make it to the end unless you have all HMs within your Party.

They already did that for Cinnabar Gym in FR/LG. :p
And I like the idea of having the eighth gym in the second city like in R/B/Y/FR/LG, but having all the HMs in the same team sounds like an annoying task, IMO.

I haven't played FR/LG for a while, so I'm not to familiar with it.
Not every HM, what use would Fly be in a Gym (except using it to fly up to a higher stage)? Maybe just Cut, Surf, and/or Rock Smash.

A Ice type gym with Hail and Ice legends. The puzzle being Frozen statues nwith a code that you get by fighting trainers.Mine is a bad idea..
