Triple Battles!

I never really paid attention to that, there so rare and when I ran into them my Pokemon were strong enough to win without me trying to switch them out.

Dang. Was hoping they'd be a tad more common.

I'm glad they aren't as common, that way they won't get too old too fast. I wish they were a LITTLE more common though. If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that one version has more than the other, can't remember which one though.

Hmm...never thought there'd be a difference in type of battle common-ness between versions.

I was hoping that when I read the title they'd be like doubles. But if they're not I doubt I'll treat them differently than singles.

Three Pokemon get sent out. 1 is leader and the other two are your 'tag team'. You can switch with one of you Pokemon on standby, but it costs a turn.

Thats awesome why have they not thought of that in gen.3 or before that?

Triple battles aren't really any better than single battles with a minor twist.

Anyways, if they thought of triple battles in 3rd gen, who knows what crap will have been released in 5th gen.

Can't be worse than triple battles that aren't really triple battles, just another version of single battles ;_;

That's what is is, unfortunately. I still can't believe I thought it'd be an epic 3 on 3 clash, but instead is some dumb tag team battle. -_-

It seems that somewhere along the line I will get confused with Triple battles until i get use to seeing them and working with them.

Pokemon hasn't been out that long here and came upon this forum looking up what triple battles were - turns out it's in the manual...like anyone reads those :/ - The turn table is rotation battles, it suggests you can move the table and make an attack in 1 turn so I assume you can attack with any of those 3 any turn but only hit whatever pokemon your opponent chooses...

While the triple battle allows all pokemon to fight each other, but the side pokemon can't attack the furthest pokemon from them on the chain. Which I like the sound of because otherwise you could just mob 1 pokemon with 3 hits every turn.

However, only had it a few days so it'll be interesting to find out if these modes are actually any good!

Rotation battles aren't bad. Don't really care for them to be honest. :/

I think i like the triple battles more than the rotation battles.

the triple battle are kinda rare and usally if there is a triple battle in white its probably a roation battle in black and vise versa. the triple battles are harder though because the last pokemon cant attack the first pokemon like this
X = able to attack
X = not able to attack
X = your pokemon
X = your attacking pokemon
X X X <--- other trainer

X X X <--- yours


i kinda like rotation because i can train and get more exp without geting my other 2 pokemon hurt
