Okay in this gen theres been many new items introduced. Theres an item called Eviolite which I'm finding useful while I'm training my Zoura. The item raises Defense and Sp. Defense of a Pokemon as long as it can still evolve. So have you started using any of these new items yet? Or do you find little to no need for them? Do you think any of the items are any good and will be helpful in wifi battles?

I actually haven't found any new items yet, maybe that is because i haven't had the chance to play much into the game.

The different type gems can be useful for sweepers such as my Yanmega or Serperior. They make your first move based on type of gem to be more powerful. Combine that with STAB and you got yourself a powerful first strike.

The only decent new items imo are the Eviolite, Balloon, and Rocky Helmet.

@kimmy the wings are really good i just went back and forth on them to collect a bunch to use because there infinite!!
