Okay, so I know that in order to purify Shadow Lugia, you need to have all the rooms to max tempo. But I'm having trouble getting to max tempo. I've tried putting pokemon of the same type in the same room, (for example, I've put Magmar, Growlithe, Houndour, and Magcargo together) and it won't work! Is it because my pokemon are at different levels, or is there some sort of trick to it?

just try doing Fire to Grass to Water to Ground and back to Fire. that always works. anything like that will work and the Shadow pokemon has to be on a type its Super Effective against.

yeah it also wrks with dual types n lugia getss purifyed instantly wen all rms r at full tempo
