Lol, Merchant?

Does anybody else find the concept of the merchant hilarious? I mean, when you first meet him, he's inside that area you start the chapter 1-2 in.

1. How did he get there safely?

2. How does he move around the game safely?


Also, I have the game on PS2. I have no idea why it says PC.

I love the merchant, I think he's awesome. Whaddaya sellin? Ah, I'll buy it at a high price!

1. Wait till it turns to night(later on in game) then find a Merchant, and look at his eyes, that it should explain why he's safe from the ganados(people)

2: He walks, lol. I guess, he'll be in some strange places, they could all be a bunch of twins..I don't know.

I hope they include the Merc. in RE5.

Anyway, if he's not, there's no way he could travel without being attacked by Gandados.

Yeah, he's infected, that's why the Ganados don't attack him. But because of this, he won't sell, or talk to you if any Ganados, or enemies are around. Because if he did, they'd know that he was betraying them, and kill him. Or try to.

Your right, unless he has some secret tunnels to go through or something.

Well if he is infected then why doesn't he attack you? I mean if you walk by a ganado it mumbles something and starts attacking you but he sells and buys things....

He is not fully infected obviously, he is like Leon...

Yeah but the merchant must've been there awhile. How come the plaga didn't mature?

At anytime throughout the game, does the merchant start selling ammo?

Wouldn't that be a life saver? No he doesn't, you can get ammo when you upgrade tyhe bullet capacity for your gun.

Lack of ammo was a major problem for me :/ Usually if I thought a big fight was coming up I'd buy a rocket launcher and hope that I won't need anything else. Now I have all the special weapons and the handcannon max upgraded so I don't worry about not having ammo heh....

Lol same here. P.R.L. 412 , Handcannon, Typewriter, I got it all. All upgraded, I have 7779994 money, or something like that, and have all guns upgraded.

First time I played though, lack of ammo was a problem till I figured out a trick.

Very simple you see, will save your as$ on pro.

Don't shoot them anywhere else but the head, not only does it conserve ammo, it also increases your overall accuracy. Or, you can wait till they come close to you, and slice at their legs with your knife, they should fall to their knees, then you can cap them in the head.

Maybe the Merchant can survive because of his indestructible arsenal of guns.. He has enough to kill all the Ganados in the game..
