IS it possible to change the starting level? Because I saw in some thread here about starting on easy with a shotgun. I started on Normal O_o?

On all versions of the game, if you start on easy, you start with a Shotgun in your inventory.

On the menu screen select the "New Game" option and select the "Easy" difficulty.

That is very strange. I click new game, but it just starts the game, no picking easy mode or anything.

What version of the game do you have?
I beleive easy is on the PAL version.
10 - Supply Depot (1)
13 - Barracks
15 - Marine (1)
16 - Orbital Command + Supply Depot (2)
16 @100% Marine (1) - Command Center (2)
21 - Bunker (1) + Barracks (2) (3)

I don't know actually, my theory is that once you complete the game on a difficulty other than easy (meaning Normal or Pro) you can olny play it on Pro difficulty from then on when you start new games.
Unless the very first time you ever played the game it didn't even let you choose difficulty then. I don't know if that's the case.
