I've heard many rumors that Albert Wesker the double agent may still be alive and make an appearance in this game. Is there any info anyone can share on this?

He is alive, we know this because he was seen in Resident Evil 4.

If you've played Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, you'll know all about how Wesker survived getting impaled by the Tyrant in the early morning of July 25th 1998.

Not dure if he will be in Resident Evil 5, but it is very possible since he and Chris are tied.

and wow he must have a nasty scar then o_O

So HOW did he survive the impaling and explosion? Fill me in, cuz I aint gonna get a Gamecube or Wii to find out.

It's on the Wii. I wouldn't bother getting one unless you're hell bent on playing The Umbrella Chronicles, either.

Wesker survived by injeting a virus into himself, which William Birkin created, shortly before Chris and Jill entered the laboratory room that the Tyrant was in. The virus brought him back to life, along with giving him superhuman powers. He then just about managed to get out of the mansion in time for the explosion. This explains why he reappeared in Code: Veronica, and in Assignment: Ada (and the awful Seperate Ways) in Resident Evil 4.

It has also been confirmed that he actually does return in Resident Evil 5, along with an older Sherry Birkin (all according to Wikipedia).

So that is Sherry. It seems that my guess was correct then. He is trying to rebuild his Umbrella Company.

The only thing i hope is that Wesker aint the main enemy in the game.

I don't think he will be. Wesker will probably stay in the background like usual, coming out of the shadows only when something interesting strikes his attention.
