Need some Pking Help

Well yeah since the new update made a new mini game thats almost a spiten image of the old pking, i have decided to try to make a pure.

Now I need some help because Im not good at pking once so ever.

So....

Here are my questions:
This is for F2P
For low level (Combat lv 30-40) What should I pure in, Str or Range. What one is better and why. What level should I get Range or Strength to.

You could just train both you know...

An account with...

65 HP
40 attack
70 strength
70 range
70 mage
1 everything else

...yeilds 50 combat.


The whole point is to have 40 attack (just enough for rune) with the max strength you can bother to achieve (99 being the best). However, you can also train range at the same time, because the combat levels you would obtain from training range are overruled by the combat you've gained from melee.

In other words, your combat level is reflected on ONE of the three combat styles, so you might as well train them all.

I've seen a level 35 with 99 strength and a level 37 with 99 attack, so if you want to be an extreme pure, feel free to try that as well.

In your opinion what set up seems to work the most, I know I could train all 3 but since this is a new account I dont have the kinda money to get 70 mage and 70 range Lol.

Would something like this work?
40 Atk
60 Range
1 def
60 str
That would be level 35 Combat and If I rose range to 70 it would only be 36 so If I had the time I might consider doing that.

This also isnt including hit points which I have no idea how you can tell what your hitpoint level would be

I dont need the best Pking pure ever but I want a pure that will some fights :p

well hybrids are the best form of pures...... and i don't have any suggestion on helping i used a mage pure a few times and it was a little easier. If my other friend was still playing i could convince him to give u alot of hints.... hes created alot of pures/hybrid...... i mean alot...

A mage/range hybrid is my choice for pking.

Eolithist was one of those for a little bit, however I eventually leveled defense for armor and quests.

Eolithist is still a strong pker though (void pure) and has a max hit of 30 with mage and 27 with range (no prayer) at 74 combat.


As for HP, it's basically 1/3 of the xp you've gained from all combat stat training. This assumes that you DO IN FACT train all stats by combat alone.

You get 1.3 HP xp for every damage you deal.
You get 4.0 melee xp for every melee/range damage you deal.
You get a specific amount of xp + 2xp per damage for magics that you cast.

There are ways to train mage and range without raising hitpoints. This would be through non-damaging spells such as curses, nature rune spells, or teleports, or the use of a dwarf cannon (members).

In other words, it's completely possible to control your HP level, in case you wanted to keep it a certain level for a certain combat level.


Of course, making a range/mage pure requires money, so if you would rather not spend much, stick with a melee pure until you get some cash reserves.

summon tanks r the greatest possible pk set u can get, ive seen lvl 53s with 90 summon ish, and 75 def, their dfs spec Plus iron titans max about 20-23 average, at lvl 53, u have roughly 60 hp, thats 3 hit kill, plus with ur major def, they wont hit i 90% garuntee,
ALHOUGH
if ur going for f2p, stick with a zerker pure, range tanks r the best for f2p (using bow to 2h swift switch glitch) u should b able to tank some narbs down no problem.

Actually summoning tanks are horrid and require too much effort to get high summoning without leveling combat.

its called soul wars and rlly? they're horrid? i rlly love to c that? RLLLLLY, go compare a guy with 99 summon and 99 def with prob only roughly 70 cb to a guy with 90 range 82 mage 90 str 1 def, who'd win? try it sometime.

umm hate to burst your bubble but they fixed the waiting aroun and not doing anything in Soul Wars a few days ago lol... it ruined alot of the newer pure types.
