They're in a room at the Lost Colony stage,search everywhere.If you can't find it...

To get Eggman's Jet Engine, go to the Lost Colony. Do the level as you usually would and when you get to the large square room that you can go around and around and around, look around until you see a staircase of unbreakable metal boxes. Climb the staircase and get the upgrade - you can't finish this level without it, so you shouldn't be able to miss it or not get it!
