UPDATE: I got it! I'm at 6 stars, it's really fun. I'm not done for the day!

Played more. I'm at 15 stars--7 from Bob-Omb Battlefield, 2 from the secret slide, and 6 from Whomp's Fortress. Won't be playing tomorrow b/c I'm going on vacation for the 4th of July, but I'll be back on the N64 in two days!

I've never finished it either, though it's a tie between Ocarina of Time and this, to which is the best N64 game I've played.
PS:Just got my N64 started up again after 3 or 4 years. I plan to play this again after I beat OoT.

i have not finished either i am at 119 stars and can't find the last star i think it is secret star but i don't want to look it up cause i haven't yet for this whole entire game

Bro, the final star is in BitS (Bowser in the Sky), collect all 8 red coins.
