So it's unlikely he is a playable character,since he is in the BG of the stage.
If they do add a AC charcater it would more likely be the character you use to play as.

In an interveiw somewhere (google it cause im on my wii) the AC human character was comfirmed and will use stuff like axe, slingshot, ect.

Yeah i read that on IGN that the AC Character will be the one you play as,and he will use those kinds of stuff.
