Thats what I donnt like about the brawl site, it usually dosent give a full list of special move ex. sonic. But aside that I think it might be a shorter range spin attack

According to the Brawl demo, his standard B could be the homing attack. IGN described it as Sonic jumping up in to the air and charging in to the nearest opponent.
I do agree though, having the two spins is a complete waste. In my opinion, keep the side B and do something like Sonic Wind for his down B.

That's one of the problems with Sonic, he doesn't exactly have a great move pool.

No, he doesn't. Link, Mario, Snake, Samus, etc. have a wide range. I hope Sonic's a good character though.

I honestly have no idea what you guys are talking about (cause i've barely played any Sonic games), but i think there is some sort of difference btwn the side and down B. Or maybe its the site that got it wrong. Either way, i know Sonic is one dam fast character, and, hopefully, we might even see Shadow. CHAOS...CONTROL!! yay shadow

ermac- that is not neccesarily true if you`ve played sonic adventure battle two he has lots of items that allow him to have different moves like mario cause mario needs a fire flower to throw fireballs etc....

Like I said, maybe the site got it wrong. The Brawl Dojo site really stinks. I wish they had more info on characters - more accurate info, too.

You forget that before Super Smash Bros. Fox and Captain Falcon had NO moves whatsoever. Besides, Sonic does have several moves he could have used. We'll just have to wait to see the differences between the spins.

Actually, I just visited the site for the heck of it. Apparently, standard B can be kept up in the air and uses a short charge, while with the down B, you hammer the B button to charge, then...BLAST OFF!! Now that's extreme speed!

Fox had some from Star Fox Adventures. Besides Fox & Cap. are first party characters so Nintendo can do whatever they want with them. Since Sonic is a third party I'm guessing that his moves have to be similar to what Sega want as well.

thats a good point. If Sega doesnt like a move Nintendo would have got him, they would not allow it, because they own him...
