when I heard about ssbb I figured mario`s final smash would be his mega mushroomand he would kill everyone but it`s his fireballs supercharged whats wrong with this picture?

okay well I saw a video with mario using his final smash but he was shooting HUGE fireballs out of his hands but in a game for DS he has a mega mushroom that makes him huge and can destroy everything by walking through how come that isn`t his final smash?

Kinda, but I dont get what you mean with this whole mario thing, the mega mushroom's just an item in New Super Mario Bros, who said anything about it being a final smash?

it would make more sense. Sonics final smash is super sonic and he needs the emeralds,
fox needs his tank

If Final Smashes were really based on a characters most trademark move then Fox would have the airwing, plus Link's would of probably been Fierce Diety Link.
It makes perfect sense, Brawl simply chooses a random, but great, move a charcter uses and puts it into the game as their final Smash. Besides, the the developers may of thought that the the Mega Mushroom would be too similar to the Super Mushroom item, and the Airwings to similar to certain assist trophies.

Whats wrong with Marios Final Smash?It cool he shoots a big blaze of fire at the opponents,that be way better,then him becoming huge and just smashing everyone.that would't be cool IMO.

I think that his final smash is fine.Nitendo didnt let him have a mega/super mushroom because people wuold easly get ko's from it.

Plus, if it was a mega-mushroom it would be way to simalar to Bowser's Final Smash.

yeah and some people use smash attacks in melee AAALLLL the time and thats
cheap but I can dodge right plus no one knows what sonics final smash does he just becomes super sonic is all that we know for sure

The Fire Ball is something that has style, that Mario can use to show off, can be used to let other players know you mean business. His special now is better than any old Mega Mushroom can ever do. Sorry, but there is no point in him having that, when Bowser turns into Giga Bowser.
Maybe it'll be an item atleast.
