You're SADLY mistaken. SADLY mistaken. It's a manga/anime series that's hugely popular in Japan and one of the most popular if not the most popular anime/manga series in English speaking countries around the world.
What you're thinking of is the video games modelled after it in the style of Tekken, street fighter, etc. (On that note, these games HAVE been released outside of Japan; in English.)
But still, Anime characters for smash brothers=Going too far out now. I mean honestly guys, I can deal with "Sonic/Megaman for brawlz!1!!111oneone!!!" but that's just stupid.

I do think adding anime chacters is going overboard. I'll agree with you one that one TestVirus101. Still, anything could happen.

I can see it. I mean, if they are replacing Y. Link with Wind Waker Y. Link, it could be likely for Naruto, or Sasuke.

The point is, that there are anime characters, and you shouldn't discriminate just because they might not look good of graphics. I mean, look at Ness and Lucas. They have big heads, skinny and small arms and legs, but you don't mind them.
