My startegies are extremely difficult to explain. From other people's ratings, I'm not far off pro level, although I've never bothered going to any tournaments. I guarantee I'm no soft touch, and I never fall into a false sense of security.
I always win with this strategy: hit your opponents with a few slashes then use down and the A button. if they don't get knocked off the screen then grab a item and throw it at them or hit them with left or right with the a button
I'm not very good with those items from the Item Select screen. Never have been. You give me bombs, a boomerang, and some arrows, we'll do better that we ever would with those items.lol
I just continually attack, not altering my difficulty level no matter how experienced or inexperienced the opponent is. So I always use the best of my abilities. Still, if the way you fight is changing your attack patterns, then you could put up a good fight at least. Do you have any videos of you in action?
I don't think they hold them many places anymore. I used to visit a website that held tournament dates and locations, but I can't find it anymore. I might be able to find out UK tournaments if that's where you live, although I can't guarentee it.
I have a few that my brother and I did, but we did it at first, and I was a little nervous of the camera. I'll update on it though. I put two on youtube, but they aren't that good. We've had some other impressive fights.
No, I don't live in the UK. I wonder if they'd do Brawl now. Thank you Volke.
Brawl will probbly host online tournaments due to the Wii's online capabilities, although I'm hoping for some offline tournaments because I really can't be bothered to get my Wii online. Judging by the success of the Wii and my predicted success of Brawl, I'm guessing both will occur.
