How does a beginner assassin escape from jail? I think that if I got the unlock spell it might work, but is there another way to escape?

pick the lock you get 1 lockpick then if you dont have any spells then you are on your own

Yep use the one lock pick you have, if you're any good or use an unlock spell if you're good at magic, or the easy way is too just serve your time so you don't have to bother getting sent back to jail again as soon as you get out :D
