just another hypothetical question

ok so oblivion is great and all and everyone here has probabbly beaten the game multiple times. so my question to you is that if there is anything on oblivion that you could add or delete or change what would it be, like changing charecters or addding spells or something ridiculous like that stupid fan boy that follows you around like all the time!

Children... it'd make the world more life-like.

All the old weapons e.g. Throwing Stars, Crossbows would be nice. Maybe an option to fully customise your homes.

One thing that totally get's under my skin is the money. When you get a diamond worth 10 buks ,well that just insults me..it's a feeking diamond .Shouldn't it be worth more?
The time frame for stores etc.
Nothing like waiting for 6 hrs for a store to open up!!!
I know they wanted a more realistic world ,but this really board me. I am a very impatient person by nature so I would have had people running the store at night ,there is such a thing as "open 24 hrs".

To me, I'd hate having all of the old weapons back. In Morrowind, there were WAY to many weapon skills. Longblade, Shortblade, Axe, Blunt Weapon, Marksman, Spear, and so on. It's just better suited to seperate all of them into two seperate skills. But I agree with customizing your homes.

My Answer: If there was ever a construction set for the Xbox Oblivion, I'd have a good idea for a mod. I'm sure you've all found silver and/or gold veins, right? I'd like it if instead of just selecting them to get the ore out you'd need a high skill in a self-created Mining skill, and have a pickaxe. If your skill wasn't high enough, you'd just destroy the rock altogether, only to have it respawn after a certain time has passed. You could also mine Raw Glass, Ebony, Iron, Gold, and gems of all sorts. And even more, the real-world ingredients could be used for cooking. You could roast meats, drain and dry spices, then eat them the way they are, sell them, or combine them into meals, which would have a variety of different effects and values. So you could sell them for profit, or use them for their effects. You could also sew your own clothes, and even craft jewlery, pots, plates, weapons, and armor. Of course, you'd need a high enough skill in whatever category your item is in. So you couldn't craft really valuable items or cook huge meals from the start.

That would be HEAVEN for Oblivion players. Anyone else agree?

ok so who thinks the friggin elves are too short? i mean.. every time you talk to someone they are looking down at you so you press the crouch button because you think your in sneak mode!~!! and you should be able to customize your charecters voice so the friggin bretons wont suond like pansies. !!!!!!!!BLAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I guess your right about all the weapon skills but surely you could just put the old weapons into the new groups. Also there would be problems with new voices. They could only afford a few voice actors and probably blew half their buget on getting Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean etc.

I would make it where you could build towns ro strt guilds. Something like that.

Maybe, this is stepping into the TES:O builder here though. It would be good if you could get the builder for the Xbox 360 version.

Yeah, I felt so proud when i figured out all by myself that Martin was Sean Bean. I watched the credits till I saw his name.

I would make it kinda like fable to were you start out as a kid you know. you could earn up respect and what not.

More animals would be good... as in pets.

I hated Fable, it was very enclosed. You couldn't really go anywhere. More pets would be nice, and the possibility to get your own perhaps as well.

More pets we be cool.Our getting to make your own creature for a pet.

I certainly can't dis-agree with the "Weaving, crafting etc." idea. To make your own stuff would be heaven.

Yeah, I guess if this was implimented then they would have to make it completely like this e.g. Baskets are actually made by people who have weavers jobs and don't just suddenly appear in random loot.
