righit im am currantly in the process of making my 9 character my 8th was a highelf but which has more magica a breton or high elf need a reply soon as i need this 4 the shivering isles

A high Elf has more but is weaker to magic so I reccomend a Breton.

I, personally, hate high elves. I don't like yellow people that are weak to magicka. Bretons actually have a resistance and look like humans.

If it's a high magicka level you want then a combination of High Elf and Atronach should be chosen, though the High Elf is weak against magicka and the Atronach means you can't regenerate magicka, only absorb it.

High elves get a magicka bonus and the atronach gives you an extra 150 magicka or something like that. And don't double post.

also, find out what skills are governed by the attribute that gives you higher magicka, find a low cost passive spell and use it over and over to level up and bring up the attribute, resting when you run out of magicka

You could do the Prison exploit, where when you go to prison your skills decrease but your level stays the same. You still get the Magicka amount boost when you level up by getting your skills back.
